Wi-Fi hotspots could present a threat, which requires users to stay within 300 feet of a hotspot, then 3G Broadband Wireless lets users roam across a large geographical area without having to worry about losing coverage.
Also, 3G Broadband Wireless is very simple to use - you sign up for one account and pay one bill, while relying on Wi-Fi hotspots could easily find you signing up with half a dozen hotspot providers and having to track as many user names and passwords.
